This whole-house remodel transformed a modest mid-century rambler into a striking, light-filled residence with vaulted ceilings and a bold industrial-farmhouse aesthetic. The original low-slung roofline was lifted to create dramatic interiors, allowing for expansive clerestory windows and full-height glazing that frame views and flood the home with natural light. Exposed structural beams and steel detailing lend an urban edge, while warm wood finishes and matte black fixtures ground the space in farmhouse familiarity. The open-plan layout was reimagined to emphasize flow and connection, with reclaimed timber accents. A multi-panel folding glass door system opens the family room to the patio, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. A palette of soft neutrals and tactile materials adds depth and texture throughout. The result is a home that feels both grounded and elevated: an inspired reimagining of Northwest simplicity with metropolitan soul.
