In a classic 1970s Mercer Island home filled with oak and small rooms, the owners set out to transform their cramped, windowless 8' x 8' primary bath into a vibrant, modern retreat. By expanding eastward and adding a window, they doubled the footprint and infused the space with natural light and bold color.
The reconfigured bath features a spacious Silestone shower with colorful glass tile accents that extend into the mirror and backsplash. Rift cut white oak cabinetry wraps three walls, paired with Nacarado granite and brushed nickel fixtures for a sleek, contemporary finish. Custom lighting and layered tile details add movement and personality throughout.
