Originally just 35 square feet with a pedestal sink, vinyl shower stall, and no storage, the primary bath was cramped and dimly lit. As part of a new two story addition, it became a vaulted, light-filled retreat featuring polished travertine tile, dual undermount sinks set in a travertine slab, and custom maple cabinetry with generous storage. A wood-clad Pella window above the tub and a fir pocket door add warmth and privacy, while weathered copper fixtures echo the antique spiral staircase nearby. What was once a tiny bath is now a serene, vaulted spa.
